Rev. Stevin Bridges was born July 3rd to the union of Rev. Dr. Sonny and Evangelist Janice Bridges in Brookhaven, Mississippi. He is the 2nd of four children. He is married to the former Christie Lovett and the Lord has blessed them with one son, Noah D'wan.
Rev. Bridges graduated from Irmo High School and earned a Bachelor Degree in Youth Ministry from the Overcoming School of Religion in Richmond, Virginia. Rev. Bridges also earned a Diploma of Practical Theology and a Diploma of Advanced Theology from the International Seminary in Plymouth, Florida.
Rev. Bridges acknowledged his calling into the ministry in 2002, while he was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Hopkins, South Carolina. He preached his first sermon in October 2002. After the conclusion of his sermon, Rev. Dr. Sonny Bridges immediately licensed him.
In 2003, Rev. Bridges accepted the position of Youth Pastor at the Unity Missionary Baptist Church (there he was ordained October 16, 2005 under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Sonny Bridges). Rev. Bridges faithfully served Unity for six years. He also served as an assistant Youth Director of the Wateree Association Upper Division. He resigned from Unity in September 2009.
In September 2009, Rev. Bridges accepted the position of Youth Pastor of the Bethlehem #1 Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Bridges served faithfully at Bethlehem for five years. He resigned from Bethlehem in November 2014 and accepted the position of Pastor of the Freemont Missionary Baptist Church in Longs, South Carolina.
